Core Values

Here's a summary of our Core Values … values we are attempting to work out on a daily basis in our relationships with God, one another, and our neighbors.

Incomplete:

On the Jericho Road we embrace a humility of attitude, heart and spirit that anticipates that we are incomplete as individuals, as a community, and in our understanding and living out of the Christian faith.

Commitment to Jesus Christ:

On the Jericho Road we believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

Authority of Scripture:

On the Jericho Road we believe that the Bible (the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments) in its entirety is God’s Word.

Relational Ministry:

On the Jericho Road we are committed to ministry being accomplished through loving and caring relationships.

Evangelism:

On the Jericho Road we believe that we are to live our lives in a manner that expresses the loving and longing heart of God extended to all people everywhere.

Worship:

On the Jericho Road we are committed to worship God in everything we do.

Servant Ministry:

On the Jericho Road we believe that God has a purpose for each Christian (something to do that will please Him and excite us).

Sacrificial Giving:

On the Jericho Road we believe that we are to be generous with our time, talents and money.

Biblical Leadership:

On the Jericho Road we are committed to identifying and training emerging leaders who are committed to Christ and to reaching their generation with the Gospel.

Expectant Prayer:

On the Jericho Road we believe that nothing of significance happens in God’s Kingdom in the absence of prayer.
